After 1 year and half of development, more than 500.000 € invested only in the upgrade, testing and R&D process, 250.000 new code lines and the integration of lot of new modules we published a Beta version of Docebo 4.0 (Beta version is only in english), you can download from here.

Docebo 3.6.0.4 fix several busg and some security issue, this is maintenance release that don't includes new features (there is a docebo 4.0 pre-beta for that).

The title is not related to how fast we can write lines of PHP code, but to the Docebo optimization introduced last week. With 3 different changes we have increased Docebo module load time by 20 times . In the final release of Docebo 3.5 you will find these changes:

Login and Browsing: We have reduced query number for permission load by 50 and we have unified in a single query. This is an impressive performance improvement and reduces server load.

SCORM Player: We have rebuilt the server-client communication system, now we have only 2 calls (Load and Close): through new AJAX calls we have reduced by 20 times the data transmission time.

Languages loaded in installation: We grouped string insert query (now a single query inserts 100 keys, instead one) reducing by half, language load times during installation.

Hi Hall, we have released an IMPORTANT upgrade of Docebo 3.5 Release Candidate, we suggest all the developers that installed DoceboRc1 it to upgrade (overwriting all files excluding and running file upgradefromrc1.php). If you upgrade you will fix two boring bugs:
- You can save test results (generally is considered important ;-))
- Login and user permission load time is 5 times faster!
